“She sat down with the great intention of writing that ever loving ‘to do’ list that everyone kindly advised her to write. ‘To move on with your life, you must get your act together, you must start with a to do list’ they would say and today was that day.
But as she took her place in front of her all too familiar window, she felt it. Today would not be the day, at all. She knew not to raise her head, not to peek at the view outside her window. Yet, slowly, ever so slowly, she first raised her eyes, then her head followed and before she knew it, the view stole her good intentions, pulling her into another world. She’d done it again. She got lost in her own world. Again. She was daydreaming. Again.”
